(this is my home page on the writing site) In a recent newsletter article, I talked about my decision to take the time and energy I was putting into social media ... and focus it on something else. When I wrote that article, I wasn't ready to
reveal what that "something else" was. Now I am. Instead of posting on social media, I'm going to share my thoughts and ideas in an online writing community called medium.com. I debated between posting on substack vs medium ... but decided on medium for
reasons I won't get into here. Medium.com has been described as "the YouTube of written content." It's a place where writers can post their content, and currently has 200 million readers each month. Anyone can read some articles on medium for free (I think the limit is three free articles a month). Beyond that, it's a membership site. Full membership includes access to anything and everything there, and it costs $5 a month, or $50 for the year. It's worth it. I've been a member for several years. Here's my homepage in Medium You'll find all the articles I have there -- I currently have 39, and
I'll be adding new articles multiple times a week: https://medium.com/@markbrouwer Here's the favor I'm asking for ... If you find my writing helpful, it would be GREAT if you would support my work on Medium. You can do
this in a couple ways: - subscribe to my writing there (you get an email whenever I publish something new) free
- click the "applause" button at the top of each article if you enjoyed it -- it's their version of "likes" free
- post comments on the articles free
- if you find medium
helpful -- as I have -- consider joining the site, and getting access to all the writing there. costs $
