TODAY'S THOUGHT: Why Everybody is so Unhappy

YOUR THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

Why is everybody around us in Western societies so desperately unhappy? There are many reasons, of course, but this (below) is definitely one of them. This comes from a teacher in India, and I'm not endorsing him or his teaching here. I'm just saying: he's right in his observations about life in America.

What he says (in the quote below) reminds me of the teaching from Ecclesiates 5:10 "He who loves money never has enough, and whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income. This too is meaningless."
