Life is busy and stressful. If we are
not careful, the demands can pile up
and erode our joy and serenity. In the
work and ministry we do, we lose our
perspective, wisdom, and hope. If we
are in recovery, this overwhelm can
threaten our sobriety, and the new life
we are trying to build.
We need to take time to withdraw from
the demands on our lives. We need to
reconnect to our purpose and to God.
That's what the RENEW retreat is all about.
The RENEW retreat is a five day spiritual
retreat for Christian leaders. Whether
pastors, church staff, board members,
therapists, or leaders of non-profit
organizations, there is a unique burden
in carrying responsibility for others.
It is HARD to work with people! Especially
when we are working with deep emotional
and spiritual issues.

WHAT ARE THE SPECIFICS?
DATE: January 15-20, 2017
PLACE: Arroyo Roble Resort, Sedona, AZ
COST: $800 (spouse attends free)
The RENEW retreat will be held in Sedona,
AZ, one of the most beautiful and unique
natural settings in the U.S.
Arroyo Roble is a resort condominium.
The cost includes a suite with private
bedroom and bathroom, and a living room
and kitchen that is shared. The suites
are arranged with two bedrooms in each
unit, so you would have your own bedroom
and bath, and share a kitchen with another
individual or couple.
Arroyo Roble is a Gold Crown resort (the
highest ranking available for resort
condominiums), and it's located very near
the heart of city of Sedona, right next
to Oak Creek.
WHAT WILL WE DO?
There will be some time for teaching and
group discussion, focusing on developing
habits and patterns for self-renewal in the
midst of ministry. And there will be lots
of free time ... for hiking, exploring,
visiting the Grand Canyon, taking jeep
tours, etc.
The best part is, you will have access
to your room for a whole week -- from
January 14-21. Add on some personal time,
at no extra cost.
