Once again, the feature article in this newsletter is an excerpt from the book that will (God willing) be released later this Fall. If it seems a little incomplete -- like I'm surfacing an issue, but not adequately answering it -- keep in mind that it's just a portion of a long section in the book. I don't
want to turn this newsletter into a book of its own!
Leaving Your Mark Without Losing Your Mind will deal with the things that get in the way of our service ... our sense of personal mission to leave our mark in the world. One of the things I see getting in the way is that we feel overwhelmed by all the needs we face. I love the quote from the Talmud that's included in the article:
"Do not be
daunted by the enormity of the world's grief. Do justly now. Love mercy now. Walk humbly now. You are not obligated to complete the work, but neither are you free to abandon it."
