Life today is overwhelming. We have too much input, too many responsibilities, too many things to worry about. And we carry too much of this in our heads. We've got to get things out of our heads and into some kind of external structure. That's what the split list strategy helps us to do ... but it takes things a step further, as you'll see in the video.
 
As I state in the video, the frustrating thing I find with this "split list" practice -- and other strategies like it -- is that many people hear me talk about it, decide whether they think it would work or not ... and then do nothing with it. It only works if you do it.
